March 2003:  Ann Buckingham Let me show you some pictures of my mother, who more than once was voted the prettiest girl at Byesville High School in Ohio.  That's her senior photo on the left above, Class of 1931. In the center is a tinted portrait that I'd guess dates from about 1933. I suspect that the third photo was taken in 1936.  The background may represent the Great Lakes Exposition, a world's fair that was held that year in Cleveland, around the present site of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
