I spent most of my time at Tappan Square.  But I had no connection to any of the graduates, so I didn’t have to stay and listen to all of the speeches.  I left early.  You can read the main address here, if you like.

One final note:  On my way home, driving through two small towns shortly before noon, I was gratified to see that the local residents had anticipated my arrival.  They were lining both sides of the main street, watching me go by.  Some of the side streets had been blocked off.  Many of the residents had brought flags and lawn chairs.  I felt like I was in a parade or something.
