	Let us fly with the crows, far away to the hills of southeastern Ohio.  Fifty miles northeast of Athens as the crow flies — and fifty miles southwest of Wheeling, WV — in a remote part of Ohio's Noble County near the Monroe County line, there is a place called Curtis Ridge. (TEXT CONTINUED BELOW) If we take Township 232 up to the northern end of this hill, we arrive at the farm where my mother grew up, and her father before her.  In the following pages, I recall it in images dating back to the 19th century as well as recent photos.
