This
is an enlargement of the family group shown in the previous
photograph. The photo is undated, and I can only guess at the
identity of the people. However, I know that my
great-grandfather J. Thomas Buckingham had four daughters (one of
whom died in infancy) and one son, so this must be his family.
If
the photo was taken in 1893, seated on the ground in the center
would be my grandfather Harry, age 8. For his story and other

In
the chair on the left would be my great-grandfather (age 43) holding
the daughter who did not survive. The others from left to right
would be my great-aunts Lizzie (13), Nora (15), and Martha (20), and
