Television production trucks and their support vehicles were parked three and four deep along Mario Lemieux Place, which curved around Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, eight hours before Game 3 of the National Hockey League's Stanley Cup Final. I was somewhere in this jumble of trailers, over behind the satellite dish you see on the right, working for the NHL Network.  The hometown Penguins defeated the Detroit Red Wings 3-2 on this hockey night in Pittsburgh, May 28, 2008. The Pens eventually lost that series.  However, they met the Wings again in the 2009 final, and this time they won the Cup!
