	Here's my grandmother Lydia Thomas, holding one of my cousins. As I recall the story, for a time my grandparents made their home at the gas station, living in the trailer that you can see in the background. Not all the vehicles passing by on the road from Calhoun needed gasoline.  The vehicle at the bottom appears to be a coal delivery wagon.  Homeowners commonly used coal for heating and cooking.
