	Meanwhile, my mother's family was living in southeastern Ohio.  In the back row are my uncle Ralph Buckingham, my aunt Virginia and uncle Jim Buckingham, and my grandmother Emma and grandfather Harry Buckingham.  Ralph's wife Esther kneels in front with her children Jerry and Carol and is joined by my future mother Ann Buckingham, with a flower in her hair.
